There’s a group of pagans who regularly meet in Palo Alto- and I went once and they were incredibly nice- but they were all fifty or older…I kind of just wish I could hang out with young pagans?

It’d just be much easier to relate to younger witches and pagans rather than (perfectly nice) seventy year old Mavis who’s a Wicca high priestess of some odd degree, you know? Don’t get me wrong, it’s cool to come from different backgrounds and have different perspectives, I just want to hang out with my peers.

Concept: A small time wannabe villain keeps pulling heists and staging crimes but at the exact same time every time a larger, more successful villain keeps pulling bigger crimes that totally overshadow anything he’s doing at the moment so everyone’s attention is pulled away and small time villain is left shouting and waving his gun and everyone ignores him

Small time villain walks home kicking pebbles and pouting.

I.

Hail to Artemis, Goddess of my Birth
Enchantress and breaker of hearts
for her heart belongs to the hunt
and the song of crickets.
Hail to Artemis, Goddess
To the divine in her which inspires divine in me
To her wildness whether she be a doe
-the freedom of prey to survive-
or wolf
-the wild desire of the hunt.

II.

Goddess Artemis, who belongs to no one,
who wanders the woodlands and mountains unfettered;
allow me freedom, let my feet fill the moss hollows of your steps.
Goddess give me the strength to belong to myself

III. Bearskin Prayer to Artemis

I sing to Artemis- a wail- a prayer of supplication
Wrap me in your bear skin
Save me, Goddess, from myself

A prayer for hibernation, for rest
Knees planted like trees arms raised like branches sorrow dripping like roots
Spring is coming but it is the dead of winter, all dead
Goddess protect me Goddess help me Goddess guard me
