I finally had some free time at work to sit down and make some prayer cards!

These were two to sort of test out the method I wanted to use. The only change I might make is also printing out the prayer on the inkjet printer instead of the laser printer, only because some of the toner flaked off when I was gluing the two layers together. But the laminator worked great! The colors are bright and the size is great (about 3″ x 5″)

I love this idea! May I ask where you found the images for each card?

The images with the prayers I designed myself. (The words are not mine, but the author of each poem is given on the card.) The artwork are mythological paintings, sourced from Wikimedia Commons.

The left artwork is by Guillaume Seignac, which was very suited for a poem about Artemis’ beauty. The right artwork is by Gaston Casimir Saint-Pierre, and is matched with a poem about a hunting Artemis.
