So I’m headed in to my second and hopefully final interview for this job, and something strikes me. Normally in retail they wont offer you full time, especially when you’re a teenager or in your twenties; they just won’t. They’ll say they’re giving you part time and then schedule you for 38-39 hours a week so they can work you like a full time employee without having to actually give you company benefits.

The job that I’m hopefully nailing down in about twenty minutes is part time with possibility of full time- it’s still a retail position, but it seems fairly nice and it’s in a good location, and when they say part time, that means 25 hours a week. Which boggles me in a way. Really, it just makes me worried about not getting full time and not being able to save enough. Like, its more upscale than the shitty places I’ve worked before, but is my sanity worth the price of actually getting a slightly smaller salary?

I’m nervous and babbling.
