Valentines dinner

We’re doing Valentines tomorrow, so I have some more time to prepare things. So far the plan is:

For dinner, fresh mozzarella stuffed chicken thighs breaded with cornbread mix and parmesan, and veggie penne with pasta sauce. And for dessert, strawberry cake with meyer lemon buttercream frosting and a limoncello gin cocktail

Depending if I have time, I might make bread….? I can’t tell you yet what I made him because spoilers, but I’ve been working on his valentines gift for a very long time now, almost a year, so I’m super excited for this whole thing

Life is Strange is a video game now

The Boy got me started on this video game called “Life Is Strange” and it’s good for learning, like I’ve almost got the commands down and it’s slow paced enough for my dexterity to keep up. But like. Fuck. From the title down, it’s way too much of a throw back. Art nerds in an Oregon high school. Familiar characters with uncanny faces. Familiar shit storms. Nothing’s changed. It’s a drama sandwich with a side garnish of “way too familiar”

Dunno. I’ve just been low key messed up all this week and I’m wondering if the universe is just giving me the finger and this throwback is just my life now.
