Making a bunch of apple pies today! 🙂 What are your tips for good pie?

I personally find that a dry pie is always best, so you don’t get that drippy syrupy waste with a pie that falls apart. Here’s a recipe that I honestly only tried once, but I remember it coming out spectacularly. I think its someone’s grandma’s award winning pie or something. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/12682/apple-pie-by-grandma-ople/

Paintheism’s In Sickness And In Health Rice

paintheism:

Hi guys, I’m sick and I feel like unfiltered death so I made a quick recipe of get-well rice! Mainly because my stomach can’t handle much else.

INGREDIENTS:

-½ cup white rice (leftover is best, to soak up the liquids)
-1 teaspoon heavy cream or coconut milk
-1 teaspoon butter

-Salt to taste (cleansing, delicious)
-Pinch of turmeric (immune booster, providence and health)
-Pinch of ground ginger (immune booster, warmth, growth, health)
-Pinch of cardamom (luck, luxury and recovery)
-Pinch of mango powder (idk what the fuk it means but it’s delicious)

Stir it all up and microwave for a minute. Best accompanied by green or chai tea, IMPO, but it’s your preference and hydration is always good when you’re sick.
