I’ve noticed shorter people commenting on my furniture post with their own displeasure. If no one’s happy, then they’re even more obviously doing something wrong. Why not sell sizes of furniture guys? Like damn son, there’s diversity in the length of the meat stilts we transport on, and we need furniture to match. Get with the program.

Quite seriously though, because a lot of furniture hits me below my center of gravity, it’s very dangerous for me to navigate sometimes, because anything could knock me over

I’m too tall for this bullshit

One of the biggest frustrations I face when furniture shopping is that EVERYTHING IS MADE FOR SHORT PEOPLE.

I’m looking for your standard bureau or dresser and they all come up to like, a little bit above my knee. This is ridiculous, guys. If I want something I have to bend down to get to and something that’s at just the right height to seriously injure me, I would put large rocks in my bedroom.

My room is slowly coming together. Laundry’s all hung up finally, so the suitcases are mostly out of the way….hung up my star lamp, tapestry, and moon (I have an excellent nest right now)…. rescued a sprightly bunch of bamboo that someone had thrown out, awesome vase and all – and I bought a towel set. Next, I have to get a bureau and maybe a bookshelf.

Also, I don’t know what to name my bamboo- and if I should go with one name or three. Name suggestions?
