the D’s and th’s and Dh’s and all the letters and the stuff in elvish are making my head spin and I’m just trying to figure out if the pronunciation of these names are soft “thuh”s or harder “duh”s, and I’m leaning towards the latter….

I guess you could say I want the elvish D

I have a question for my Catholic followers

My boyfriend and his family is Catholic, so I’ve heard plenty of Hail Marys and Rosaries said- but they always say it SO fast. I know in the interest of time it’s necessary, but from an outsiders perspective its hard to tell if so much repetitive religious content at such a rapidfire pace is meaningful or fulfilling.

What is the rosary to you? For you is it communication, a requirement, holy time, ect? Do you enjoy it? Is it meaningful for you?

The carving witch is not allowed to carve

All parties are protesting, from parents to boyfriend to boyfriend’s parents. My own parents complaint about the mess aside, ever since my thumb injury (which didnt prevent me from working and healed quickly without medical intervention), The Boy hasn’t wanted me working with knives. Like, even my little tiny craft knives. Less than half an inch.

Gods I wish I had access to power tools- that’d solve this problem- but probably raise a whole host of others…..I just…

What else is new

And now my mom’s not talking to me because I wouldn’t tell her who the cookies I’m making are for. Can you just chill? Regardless of who they’re for? Do I have to share every detail of every relationship I have with you?

I didnt want to tell her they were for Hermes because every time I talk to my parents about my religion I feel like a child playing at make believe, and sometimes I’m just too tired to feel belittled that day.

But anyway, half the batch is vanilla and half is a coffee chocolate, and they taste really good, so I’m hoping they stay true to recipe and keep their crisp shapes when they come out of the oven.
