The lemon curse

What you need:
Lemon (to bring problems to their lives)
Nails (to bring pain)
Twine black ( for banishing)
Dragons blood ink ( for magical potency) {or regular ink if you don’t have any }
Knife
Scissors

Step one : write the name / names of the people you want to curse. As you write the names concentrate on how they will no longer hurt you.

Step two: cut the names into pieces so that they will fit into the lemon.

Step three: cut the lemon into slices that correspond with the number of people getting cursed.

Step four: place the names between the slices, then hold them closed together with the nails and twine, focusing on how they will have pain and sorrow. Now they are bound to the curse and can no longer hurt you.

Step five: you can dispose of the cursed lemon any way you see fit so that they are out of your life.

Witch Idea

notyourmothersspellbook:

So this store sells colored skull candles and colored skull holders with brain candles that eventually melt through the eyes to give the illusion of crying:

While they’re cute in and of themselves I can’t help but think they’d be wonderful for a “Your Skull’s on Fire” kind of curse. Cinnamon, fire salt, pins, tag lock, and this brain to burn inside their representative skull.

Thats nasty and I love it

Because
it is our right to stand up to our abusers.

Because
it’s bullshit to tell people to just take the abuse.

Because
it’s not our job to heal the people that hurt us.

Because
we should support self-defense.

Because
pacifism is one
belief system that doesn’t
apply
to everybody.

Because
karma doesn’t work how you think it works.

Because
sometimes, magic is the last recourse of the downtrodden and the
hurt, the people who can’t go to law enforcement, or the people who
are alone in their struggles.

Because
each witch has a right to do what they want with their magic.

Because
it is not our job to heal our abusers

Moriarty’s “Did You Miss me?” Curse

fyeahpopculturewitchcraft:

image

Anon requested Moriarty curses and although this probably wasn’t what they had in mind it’s the first thing that came to mind. To the anon: you may be getting a few curses, Moriarty is my favorite!

Intent: To strike the fear of God (all of them) into your enemies. This curse is meant to cause someone enough paranoia and fear that they think you’re after them and lurking over their should waiting to strike, even if you’re not.

Materials:

  • wood or clay poppet (something sturdy)
  • purple ribbon (longish)
  • red marker
  • herbs associated with fear, chaos, and mental connections (personally I chose chili pepper, anise, onion powder, and vervain but you can do whatever works for your correspondences. Make sure to research your herbs before using anything)
  • cloth

Procedure:

1. Crush up all your herbs into a fine powder if they’re not in that state already

2. Lay the purple ribbon out flat and write the words “did you miss me?” over and over again with your marker.

3. When you’re done, rub the ribbon in the herbal mixture, especially the side with the words.

4. Tie the ribbon around your poppet’s feet with the words facing the poppet. Then slowly wrap the ribbon completely around the poppet. As you’re wrapping it around the head say:

I owe you a fall, and I won’t stop until I get it.

5. Wrap the poppet up in a cloth and keep in somewhere safe. Remember, the point of this curse is to make the person think you’re after them and lurking in the shadows. It’s more of a mental curse than a physical curse, so we want to keep the poppet safe.

“Just don’t curse”

thistletongue:

I’m honestly curious.
On posts that claim cursing is alright and cursing is ok why do people feel like they need to add their opposing demands?

“Don’t curse!” they cry out.

Why?

Why can’t we curse?

“The Threefold Law!”

Incorrect!

The Three Fold Law was originally published in a fictional work titled High Magic’s Aid by Gerald Gardner.

The story is about two brother’s who set out to reclaim their land. In an interview in 1991 Valiente states, “I think old Gerald cooked it up in one of his rituals, and people took it terribly literally.”

(Valiente was an early initiate and high priestess of Gardner, being initiated by him in 1953. She is sometimes referred to as the “Mother of Witchcraft” because of her extensive collaboration with Gardner in reworking his notes into a more formal book of shadows. One of her more most well-know contributions is the poetic form of the Charge of the Goddess.)

Belief in the simple law of cause and effect is a popular one among witches of all traditions; however, this particular way of expressing it [the three-fold law] seems to have originated with the Gardnerians and is peculiar to their English tradition.

Gardnerians who did not work with Lady Owen or Raymond Buckland did not have this emphasis on a three-fold return. Unlike the Crowthers, however, Valiente, along with several other coven members split from Gardner around 1960 due to his habit of presenting his personal opinions as law.[x]

Through my research on the topic, though it not completely thorough, many Wiccans and witches agree that the words of one person are not law. Many also agree that witches should not be held to a special set of law and rules simply because they practice witchcraft.

“The Wiccan Rede!”

Incorrect!

The Wiccan Rede is not the same thing, though it too was created by a single person. Those who practice NeoWicca do NOT have to follow any rules or laws put forth by specific traditions.

I would also like to emphasize that Gardnerian Wicca is based on initiation and is therefore a closed practice. It is not a title one should claim unless initiated. That being said plenty of Wiccans do not follow the Three Fold Law or The Rede. Those aspects of Wicca apply to very specific traditions in specific practices. If you are at all interested in Wicca I urge you to research “rules” and “laws” before simply accepting them as such.

“Bad Karma!”

Incorrect!

That isn’t how karma works. [x] [x]

“Cursing is only ok when….”

Incorrect!

You don’t get to judge what is “ok” for other people.
You weren’t elected, selected or asked.
Your own moral values are not the same as other, stop forcing them onto other people.

Stop telling people cursing is “bad” or “isn’t ok”.

What goes around comes around.”

Incorrect!

This isn’t a good reason. That is a belief you are personally invested in.
That doesn’t mean anyone else has to follow it.

I don’t believe in it. I’ve seen people lie, cheat, steal and physically abuse others and nothing ill has ever come of it. I’ve seen people help those in need, go above and beyond, and honestly want to just help others lose everything. Newborns dying of horrible, painful diseases. Animals being tortured. People dying in wars they want no part of.

I don’t believe in “what goes around comes around”.

If you personally don’t curse thats fine.
Stop policing pro-cursing posts because you feel like people aren’t paying you enough attention.

I have never once seen a good reason to not curse.
At the core, at it’s origin, witchcraft was born of cursing, of hexes, of spoiling milk and killing livestock….

These are the roots of witchcraft. To say anything otherwise is pretty talk and a complete ignorance to the true history of the craft itself.

Eye of Sauron Revelation Powder

breelandwalker:

Intent: To force a liar out of hiding and expose their misdeeds and trickery.

Ingredients:

  • Galangal Root
  • Deer’s Tongue Herb
  • Copal Resin
  • Dragon’s Blood Resin
  • Black Sugar
  • Black Salt
  • Pumice

Materials:

  • Mortar & Pestle
  • Collection Dish
  • Mesh Strainer
  • Funnel
  • Container

Process:

Grind the Galangal Root and Deer’s Tongue with mortar & pestle until a fair amount of powder collects in the bottom. Sieve the material through a fine mesh strainer into a collection dish; this removes the larger ungrindable pieces and gives you cleaner powdered herb. (Pro-Tip: Putting a funnel under the strainer helps reduce lost material.)

Grind small amounts of the remaining ingredients and add them to the dish. Mix everything well and bottle immediately.

Sprinkle where you know your target will walk, or across the entrance to a room or dwelling, or in the corners of a room. (The powder is most effective when trodden upon by the target.) As you do so, visualize a flaming eye stripping away their lies and dishonesty. If you wish, you can recite the now-famous line:

“You cannot hide. I seeee you.”

“You Cannot Touch Her” Curse/Binding

This curse is particularly for people who have done harm in the past, and as such already known to be a potential threat. The idea is to keep the person from speaking to or approaching the one you’re trying to protect, and to make them feel watched and judged for their past actions.

You will need the following:

  • A jar big enough to hold a poppet
  • Some kind of poppet – I used a wooden one with the offender’s name written on the bottom. A photo could also be used
  • White out
  • A black candle
  • A mixture of black salt & cayenne pepper
  • A sigil of your own design meaning “You cannot touch [name or pronoun]”
  • A permanent marker

Light the candle and white out the mouth of your poppet. Roll the poppet in the mixture of black salt and cayenne pepper (black salt tends to stain so keep this in mind). Place it in the jar and seal the lid, leaving the poppet inside under the gaze of dozens of eyes. Write your sigil on the lid. During or after all of this, say the following aloud or think it to yourself (change pronouns accordingly):

You cannot touch her.
You cannot speak to her.
Think of her and bring this curse upon you.
May your tongue catch in your throat if you dare to reach her.
May you burn and ache if you come near.
May you feel eyes upon your back each time you think her name.
They’re watching. I’m watching.
May you forever question the gaze of others –
Do they know the things you’ve done?
I do. I curse you. I bind you.
You cannot touch her.

Stash the jar in a dark place, like a closet or a cabinet (I don’t recommend burying jars). Let the candle burn until it extinguishes itself.

You are a genius, I doff multiple hats to you

im sry if this is a pain in the ass but i need curses for abusers specifically. thank you so much, you have a wonderful blog !!!

sylvaetria:

I am listing curses that are specifically for abusers, but also some that I think are suitable for abusers. (The list of curses I had specifically for abusers was really small so…)

* = mentions abusers specifically

I feel any curse could do, honestly, with a bit of modification.

Oh, also, because it is important:

I hope that helps you. 😀
