i found the original facebook post, here are some facts:
- the baby alpaca was only a week old
- this is from a farm in wisconsin
- what happened is: she was taking a dust bath and fell into a badger hole
- what caught the farmer’s attention was the entire herd of alpacas surrounding the hole, which is about a mile out in the field
- the poor girl was in the hole for hours and was entirely underground when they found her
- people apparently use “city slicker” as an insult unironically, as evidenced by the comment section

So I fucked up and lost years of work
I spent hours last night collecting my various poetry from different sources, some of them being from my blog, then methodically deleting [who knows why] them from my blog and I was so goddamned tired that I didn’t save the open word document that they were all in or bother naming it either before putting my computer to sleep so when I opened my laptop this morning everything had gone to shit, all files lost,

Needless to say, on top of student loans calls, I’m a wreck and this morning has had a lot of crying
Listen, don’t just call your senators, but do that too
Publicly shame your House reps. There’s about to be a recess for district work. Go to town halls shouting the word “shame.” Donate as much as you can to their challengers. Show up to their offices. Flood them with calls. Picket their goddamn houses. Get in their faces about that kegger that Ryan threw in his office. And when the CBO score comes out next week or the week after, raise holy hell.
Because the senate will see that. Democrats only have to pick up three votes in the senate to beat the damn thing. There are republican senators up for reelection in 2018 in states that Clinton won.
Make everyone involved as uncomfortable as possible. The 2018 midterms are in 18 months.
Oh yes this is good too. Hold them accountable, remember their names, make them regret.

So! White pagans and polytheists in the US, Trump just signed an executive order relaxing taxation regulations around non-profit churches and is basically including a free speech thing in it–saying that this allows pastors and churches to say what they want without prosecution.
Since POC who are not Christian and LGBTQ+ folks are about to get it in the neck, you’re going to line up to protect them and us, right? You’re going to use your privileged voice to speak up for minority religions as practitioner of such, right? All you white cisgender gays are in to protect the Brown, Black, Indigenous, and trans folks who have had your backs since day one, right?
Or…is it gonna be the same old, same old where POC and LGBTQ+ folks do the labor and you all stand back quietly?
