Stupid ass fuckin’ government, afaik Abbott is in favour of this method because if it were simply a parliament vote, they would all vote yes, and Abbott is a dick who hates his gay sister. ANYWAYYY, time to vote, too bad my grandparents don’t know I’m gay.

I’ve seen a few people who want to boycott the vote on principle, but here’s the thing: we all know the plebiscite is a real fucking shitty thing, a massive waste of money and time, but it doesn’t matter anymore because IT’S ALREADY HAPPENING. It’s shitty, but it doesn’t make voting in it any less important. 

Please, make sure you’re enrolled to vote, and for god’s sake, PLEASE VOTE “YES”!! 

The plebiscite may be non-binding, but it’s still incredibly important that you vote in it. We’re finally getting a chance, maybe not on our terms, but god damn are we going to fucking take it and show them that MARRIAGE EQUALITY MATTERS to the majority of Australia!

I’m planning a much nicer giveaway soon but here’s a couple little lots of goodies I thought someone out there might find useful for a project or just to add to their collection! ❤

The gar fish scales have all been dyed and some of the green ones have gold metallic marker designs drawn on them. Would be a great lot for jewelry! I’ll toss in a few natural white scales too.

The second lot contains a ton of different kinds of craft grade and scrap feathers. None of these feathers are from birds protected under the MBTA and they are all legal to possess. Some need cleaned and many others are just pieces of feathers. Still a great lot for crafts! I’ll toss in some more small turkey feathers too.

I’ll choose one person for each lot. MUST be a USA resident (sorry, international friends) since wildlife parts require permits to ship internationally. I’ll contact the winners tomorrow (8/10) afternoon. I pay shipping too so no worries there!

Best thing about Colbert is that when he nails it, he nails it.

I feel like Colbert is one of the best examples of religious you can ever get. He’s Catholic. He’s one of 11 kids. He teaches SUNDAY SCHOOL. And it never comes off like he’s judging you because you don’t follow his exact path.

I’m an atheist, and I feel like Colbert gets me in a lot of ways. It means a lot.
