Okay first off when has that ever stopped the gods??? Second off, Aphrodite has different origin stories, so she’s not always Zeus’s daughter. And third off, let me live my fantasy, girl!

This is people’s actual religion, there are written accounts of every single origin story of the Theoi, you don’t just get to retcon it lol. Just admit that you unknowingly shipped sisters, giggle at the ridiculousness of it, and move on.

Also I’m a Hellenic and devoted to Aphrodite. So I don’t need someone coming in to condescendingly educate me. I didn’t “unknowingly” do anything. You insisting they are sisters with no variation shows the lack of knowledge you have actually. Like I said not every version of Aphrodite’s origin has her of the daughter of Zeus meaning they aren’t always seen as sisters.

So how about YOU admit the fact that you assumed things that ended up being wrong, apologize, we giggle at the ridiculousness of it all, and move on 😁

In some origin stories, she’s known as the oldest of the theoi being born out of the sea. Also when has ‘being related’ stopped the Theoi? Hera and Zeus are siblings.
