this is THE MOST upsetting, disturbing thing I have read in the past weeks. I expect to be disturbed by most anything trump says. I expect to be disturbed by the actions of congressional republikans. But a legitimate democratic candidate being physically intimidated to drop out of a race weeks before election day by LOCALS motivated by partisanship (not racism) in a state that formerly prided itself on fairness and the rule of law, is truly A NEW AND SHAMEFUL LOW.
If you are 18+ and LGBT, GET OUT AND VOTE ON NOVEMBER 6TH. TRANSGENDER RIGHTS ARE IN DANGER.
The Trump Administration is planning to change the legal definition of sex to- “male or female, unchangeable, Unless by genetic testing.” Aka, trans people would be completely erased. They would have no rights towards discrimination, changing their gender, or even presenting as trans in general. If you aren’t planning to vote or you’re on the fence, PLEASE, for the love of god, get out and vote. We have to protect our community.
No, guys, I think we have to realize both of these people are in the right. People *should* question sources like this because cultural appropriation happens SO OFTEN and is SO IGNORED by many people because they just pass it off and say “well I’m sure this is just fine”. So therefore, you have to ask questions, get full information. To me, it sounds like both people are on the same side, against the bigotry of cultural appropriation and now they have an understanding. Kudos to both.
