i wanna play with clay but idk how you like get access to a kiln or get a kiln or anything and ive never even worked with glazes n shit before but i imagine that gets expensive but i WANT
Kilns are expensive, you’re right- but instead of spending a grand plus on one, go to your local community center or art center! Instead of spending a shitton on community college classes and having to follow someone’s curriculum in order to have access to a kiln, or even more to rent my own studio plus kiln and supplies, I’m spending 250-300 every two months on a community art center class where I get to do whatever the hell I want in order to build my graduate portfolio. Its still money, but in terms of artistic freedom and relative cost, its A plus
