Yesterday, one of my coworkers at the Aquarium took the time to tell me–me specifically–that two birds in our Australia aviary exhibit have been seen nesting and preening together. Two female birds. 

She didn’t come right out and say “I’m telling you this because I know you’re Gay and will appreciate it greatly”, but I knew that was the reason. And I’m so very, very grateful for it.

We have lesbirds.
