– Most days after work, with different dogs running up to hug me and annoying their owners when they refuse to move until I pet them.

– In my classmate, who came into class wearing sparkling gold sneakers with wings

– Remnants in the park, a broken glass perfect for holding an offering of flowers

– In the statuette held in the museum a walk away from campus

– In the hawks that watch me at work and on the road

– Especially that one hawk that let me get five feet from it on my first day of classes
