Every time I see photos of Bonsai trees and old-growth forests I get really pissed off that humans have such short life-spans compared to trees. Like. I wanna grow a tree!!!!!!!!! But I wanna see it through until the end. I wanna drink lemonade under my six-hundred-year-old Black Oak and laugh because once I missed “Black Oak” on a Dendrology exam and now I’ve lived in the branches of one for multiple centuries.

BUT IN REALITY I can grow like. Idk. I was gonna say a fern but I can never keeps ferns alive.

Anyway when is someone gonna unlock the secret to immortality. I know it always goes horribly wrong in fiction but I’m here for suggestions
