I’m so ridiculously pleased with these. They looked a bit overexposed and out of focus in the camera so i’m not sure how this happened, but i’m so happy it did! We had to get up pretty early on a Saturday to take these, but I think it was worth it!
The dress and headpiece were made and worn by me. It’s inspired by the dress in this Heinrich Mucke painting. It’s made from seven yards of foil printed sari fabric and lined with five yards of polyester suiting. The neckline is embellished with gold sequins and seed beads that I hand stitched on.
