As the daughter of a meteorologist, I am incredibly skeptical of weather magic.

But at the same time, I feel like, as the daughter of a meteorologist, I could be very, very good at it.

Like, say I wanted a thunderstorm for whatever reason.

I see no point in just sitting around and raising the energy and chanting and waving a wand or whatever it is people would say a weather witch should do.

My first thought would be to go onto the NOAA website and pull up the front maps to study. Okay, we’ve got a system of warm air over us right now. Where’s the nearest cold front. There. All right, let’s raise that energy and convince it to dip south.

And then I would track the front day to day and see if it’s moving in the direction I want it to, repeating my actions if needed.

Like I’m not trying to shit on weather witches here. I’m just saying I’d have a pretty non-magical way of going about it.
