I’ve seen lots of Black face claims for the Gods, and while I love Black faces I feel like the Gods would be more diverse. Like an East-Asian Aphrodite or maybe a Hawaiian Hephaestus, there is much more poc than black. And I feel like there are so much possibilities, if people were more open to it. I mean maybe there have been and I haven’t seen it, but most face claims I’ve seen have been black or white and that’s it. 

Although I use a lot of black face claims, I also do my best to use east and south Asian face claims at well! My ‘aesthetic’ tag has all of my aesthetics in one place if you ever want to peruse.

Sometimes the pictures unfortunately just get cropped in a way that the most obvious racial signifiers get cut out because of the composition of the image but I do specifically search for pictures of many different groups.

Maybe when I have more free time soon I’ll open up requests again and get even more obvious examples in, but you’ll find quite a bit in that tag already if you scroll through.
