First Impressions

violetwitchcraft:

The young witch opened the door to the old curio shop and took a hesitant step inside. He looked at the rows of herbs stacked high on the shelves and marveled at the crystals in every colour he knew and some that he didn’t. The witch yelped as a sleek white cat ran across his shoes and looked up, startled, at the sound of laughter as smooth as honey. The owner of the stop appraised him with amused amber eyes.

“I… I think this the store I’ve been looking for? You see I want… I want to know if boys can be witches.”

He looked down nervously, already hearing the resounding NO in his mind. Just like so many others had told him. The owner laughed again, this time in high vibrations that he could only half hear.

“Oh my sweet boy. do you really think the shop would have let you in if they couldn’t?”
