Have you ever been in a situation where you were trying to explain something to someone but they just weren’t getting it? Have you ever had issues with someone just because they misunderstood you? What about when you’re trying to articulate something to someone and you just can’t find the words? If so, then do I have the spell for you. (Infomercial over.)
What you need:
A tube of chapstick/lipstick/lip balm
Rose quartz
Labradorite
Crystal quartz
A sigil for understanding/communication
A tarot card
Just remember- feel free to customize this spell as much as you need to. Your spells need to be customized to your needs, not to what some person on the internet tells you that you need.
What to do:
Choose your chapstick. It should be something that you feel comfortable wearing, and something that you can apply easily in a pinch. I chose my favorite chapstick- it’s candy cane.
Draw your sigil. This can be one that you came up with yourself, or the one that I have below. Either way, it should be something that represents communication to you.
It might be hard to draw the sigil on the chapstick- it might be easier to draw it on the side of the tube rather than the bottom. I used a fine-tipped Sharpie to do it.
Next up, choose your crystals (or none, if you prefer). I chose rose quartz (for repairing relationships and easing communication), labradorite (for calmness in discussion and neutralizing anger), and crystal quartz (to amplify the effects of all of these things).
Now, choose your tarot card (also optional). I chose Temperance, because I believe that in any discussion you need to have balance; you need to listen to the other person just as much as they listen to you. Choose whichever card represents communication and understanding to you.
Now set up your things:
This is how I set mine up: I placed the chapstick in the middle of the tarot card, with the rose quartz and labradorite on either side of it. I placed the crystal quartz across the rose quartz and labradorite, crossing over the chapstick, in order to amplify their energy and channel it into the chapstick.
Feel free to light a candle near it to amplify the energy, or ask for any deities to bless it. Let it charge for as long as you feel necessary. Remember, customize the spell to fit what you need.
And you’re done! Whenever you put the chapstick on, visualize your words flowing out and passing through the chapstick, gaining a veil of communication and understanding.
