i’ve heard a few people talk about how Aphrodite hates/dislikes asexuals and aromantics, is this true? as a grey asexual + grey aromantic should i just stay away from her?

NO. I’m…somewhere on the ace spectrum, and Aphrodite has honestly been the kindest deity to me by far. So much so that I gave her her own special section on my altar, which otherwise is just a general one to the Olympians. Even if you’re only looking at her aspects as the goddess of love (and you shouldn’t, but for the sake of the argument, let’s pretend), love isn’t only romantic or sexual. Worshipping her has brought me to a place of wondrous self-love. Love can also be friendship. (One of the best-received offerings I’ve ever given her was singing “Wannabe” by the Spice Girls to her, because it firmly places the singer’s romantic relationship as secondary to her friendships, which she cites as being more important to her.) Love can be familial relationships. And so on and so forth. Aphrodite does NOT hate ace-spectrum people. Signed, an ace-spectrum Aphrodite worshipper.
