Im doing care packages for the homeless, since I live just across the street from a mini tent city as well as the shelter for our large city.
I have a few people helping here where i live, but am having a hard time getting together all the needed items. So if you want to help even though you dont live here, ive set up a amazon wishlist with items on it that are needed for the care packages. Big thanks to anyone who feels like helping!
Large heavy-weight garbage bags: 2 can be used as rain-wear, 1 can be used as a “sleeping bag” (or a sleeping bag cover), also great for ground cover and a little “tent”. SO many uses! (I used to use the really heavy-weight, really large, clear plastic bags.)
Thats a really great idea, especially here where its constantly wet. Ill pick some up and add them to the list. thanks!
