hi! do you think that Aphrodite is a goddess associated with JUST romantic love? i’ve been thinking about introducing myself to her, but i am utterly uninterested in romance or sex. would it be a better idea to try out forming a relationship with another god/dess? also, can you think of any parental gods/goddesses? thank you!!

I tend to think of her as a goddess of many aspects of love., Giddy romantic love, friendship, motherly/sisterly love, self love. She’s love ❤

As for gods and goddesses with parental associations, Nyx, Demeter, Persephone, Hestia, and Hera come to mind for Goddesses, while Zeus I associate as a father figure. For me, Hades and Hermes, sometimes Apollo, tend to be quite Uncle-ish 🙂

Artemis, I have been told, also has some mother;y/sisterly associations.

I’ve heard that Aphrodite is also associated with war- there’s many difference facets to the Theoi
