Reshaping the faces of tanned pelts is honestly pretty simple! The “30 seconds or less” explanation is that you soak the hide in water until it’s supple, then reshape it to your liking and let it dry in that new position. Of course, there’s a bit more to it than that, and since I like being thorough when asked for help, I’ll gladly elaborate.
What all do you do to reshape a pelt? I have two coyote faces I’d like to reshape but I don’t know how. They’re both tanned nicely (I bought them a looong time ago).
