Hyenas should be associated with literally everything possible.

There is not enough love for hyenas in this world. Did you know they love fruit? I bet you didn’t know that they’ll break open melons with those vicious jaws because they think it’s sweet and delicious.

Plus they like to play in water. The way that some dogs like to.

Also sometimes the cubs kill each other to not have to share resources with their siblings because even as babies they’re brutal.

Hyenas are scavengers of dead carcasses, like vultures and buzzards. A strong argument could be made that they ALREADY belonged to Ares.
