You don’t need a special relationship with the gods to be a good worshiper or devotee.

You don’t need to be special to them.
You don’t need to be touched from birth.
You don’t need to be oathbound or a spouse.
You don’t need to hear them with any kind of godphone.

You don’t even need to be chosen by the god.
You can choose to worship them on your own.

It’s fine just to be a mortal. To give them offerings as a normal, everyday person. Those things up there, they’re okay things to have. But they’re not necessary to have a deep and fulfilling relationship with the gods.

In the end, it’s just between you and the gods.

There is nothing wrong with just being you.
