You don’t need flowery language, a solid rhyme scheme, or Latin to make your spells powerful or even work. If it enhances your work, go for it! I mean, do your research on Latin and sentence structure, of course.

You can do silent spells in your head. You can sign them. You can straight up just visualize. You can scream, shout, whisper to your stuff and say, “HEY MAN PROTECT MY HOME” or “this person can fuck off, alright done”. Your intent is all that matters. Your belief in your own power is all that matters.
